Egon Schiele

I am so inspired when I look at the work of painter, Egon Schiele.  I just need a breath of fresh air outside the world of photography, for a moment. I am awakened by the beautiful colors and the mysterious characters he paints...I love the intense and twisted shapes.

The California backyard

I love looking at photographs of people in the swimming pool...I guess they speak to my spontaneous and playful sensibilities! Everyone is always so relaxed, and they seem to have a childlike disposition when they get in the water. 

My favorite is this photograph by Linda McCartney taken of Paul diving into a swimming pool in Jamaica!
